Google Quits On Real Estate Experiment

Google has decided that their experiment into identifying in maps what homes are for sale or rent was not successful. They disabled this option on February 10, 2011. Google indicates that you can still see their hand in this area. A few examples, home-seekers can get directions, transit times, aerial and street view imagery to check out the area they are interested in living in. So Google won’t find you a house, but once you find one you won’t have to leave the comfort of your couch to check out the neighborhood.
