This beauty pageant indeed showcases true Mindanaonian beauty and talent, it is only a few of what Mindanao can offer. Aside from the fact that Mindanao is the fruit basket of the Philippines, it also proves that it is a place where women of prestige are hoaned.
You can see the Hiyas ng Mindanao 2007 official candidates here and can cast your vote via their website or thru text.
My bet is Ms. Katrina Camoro of Basilan. Although I haven’t hear and seen her in person yet, I have a good vibe that she could take the crown, after all she indeed has an angelic face…

May 16: Arrival of the Candidates; Pictorials at AGFA Color House/Press Conference
May 17: Swimsuit Competition, Pryce Plaza, 5pm( I am so gonna go be there ;-D )
May 18: Cultural Presentation and Talent competition, at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, 5pm
May 19: Mall tours and Arrival of the Sigma Beta/Beta Sigma Convention Delegates.
May 20: MOTORCADE of the Candidates and the Delegates for the Sigma Beta National Convention and Grand Coronation Night at the Atrium, Limketkai Center, 7pm

There are just a few things that i want
to correct you about your bet for the
hiyas ng mindanao pageant..
First of all, she is not from basilan.
I’m quite sure of that because i’m a good
friend of hers. I would also like to point
out that posting a picture of her for
everyone to see is unpermittable without
a permission coming from her or anyone who
handles her exposures.

i think miss kathrina manansala deserves the crown, i have watched all the beauty pageants she joined and she didnt fail and will never fail expectators.. if ever she will be representing northern mindanao in the upcoming bb. pilipinas, let us show support because i know she can do it…
