As technology continuously grows, many people have also began to adapt to the latest makeover trends available at the market today. One of the most common is the non-surgical method of providing for the non-invasive treatment of aging – BOTOX injections

Also known as botulinum toxin, botox works by blocking the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter, leading to the relaxation of muscles. Botox works by temporarily weakening the muscles responsible for the appearance of some wrinkles and lines along the eyes. This process involves the use of fatty tissues taken from your thigh or abdomen, which actually contains animal protein known as collagen. Other advantages of botox include treatment of migraine headaches, excessive sweating, and muscles spasm.

One disadvantage though is that botulinum, which is a strain of botulism, is a powerful poison. For that reason, it is highly recommended that when you plan to have chemical injections administered in your body you should contact certified doctors.
